Oh it'll look better.. I machined the same amount of LED holes as the bigger brake light ring so they look concentric and scaled properly. People who have done dont have enuf LEDs in theirs and it doesnt look OEM. Ive machined stuff for my other vehicles and unless it looks like OEM quality, it aint going on my car.

thats a sick idea, gotta love solidworks, but with your cnc knowledge and avaibility to the machines your set. I wanna send you some solidwork files for cnc!! haha

 

Ha, a few buddies of mine, we used to all work together, few of us went to school and have the same degree too, want to start our own prototyping business. We've been throwing around the idea for years. Just need the economy to pick back up and put down a hefty downpayment on a building and equipment. Id love to do custom parts like this all day long!

Flip, as an engineering student, I got a free license to pretty much any of AutoDesk/AutoCAD software and I think I'm going to try and do something like this.
