Has/does anyone know how to close the outside air vent without turning on the A/C?

 

hmm, I noticed this too. is there even a way?

 

i think you have to switch the circulate button on, but not turn on the fans

 

Yep, just push the recirc button, wait a few seconds and then turn it off.

 

^I think that only works if you have your thermostat temperature setting above(hotter) the actual thermometer reading. That's just my guess but I could've sworn I actually got it on recirculate without the A/C kicking in BUT that was in the winter. I never bothered trying again

So that lead me to believe that the setting has to be hotter than the actual temperature reading...don't quote me on that though

 

If you have to turn off the fan, that defeats the purpose of having air circulating. Still looking....
