i wonder if you could spray a few coats of clearcoat on it before you peel anything off

i dunno if it would adhere to the plastidip stuff though

Orange peel is not a product

It's the effect you get on paint if the clear wasn't properly applied, or if the final product was not properly finished. The overall effect looks like orange peel.

I think this can be a very good way to black out your front whatever emblem you have and never have any rock chips on em. and i guess you can match the color or go two tone for the rest of the grill.

i wish i knew about this product before going black chrome with my front fuji and pay ridiculous price for emblem modification...

u mean u used those rattle can for models and rc cars and stuff? I was just dealing with those stuff, and nail polish dissolved them in matter of seconds. obviously, not the colored ones but clear coat one.

but i dont recommend using it on your car! im pretty sure it will be harmful to your factory paint.

+1; I would also like to know the answer to that as well. applying the clear coats while the plastidip is still on and then peeling the plastidip around the emblems off would make sense to prevent the clear coat getting on to your car, at least in my head.
