DIY: How to BLACK OUT rear emblems in MINUTES
I've been meaning to post this up for a while now, just haven't had the time to do it.... so now that I have a flu, and I wake up at the most random times... I figured I'd do it now... than never.
You can pick up a can of plastidip from the paint department of any home building store (Lowes, Home Depot, etc.)
In case you don't know what plastidip is... it's rubberized paint originally used to coat the grip of tools, until it was made in a spray form and fell into the hands of a car guy... and well the possibilities are endless. This stuff will peal off on demand with no issues as long as the coats are thick enough.
Sorry for the cell phone quality pics.
Here's the steps:
Enjoy

I used to charge money for this, and now I let people know how it's done so they can do it themselves... I think the least I can do is deserve some credit where its due.

Expertly-done DIY! Ignore the naysayers
I might have to do this soon. I have been thinking about blacking out my Mt Fuji (the only badge I have on my coupe) but have been reluctant to do it because I wasn't sure I would like it on my Lakeshore Slate. However, with this method, if I don't like it, I can easily remove it.
Thanks again!
