I just replaced my doorlock actuator recently on the driver side and since then I have a strange problem. I tried this fix : $5 Door Lock Motor (Actuator) Fix.

Everything works great, except one thing; I have to pull the outside door handle twice to get in the car, each time. In fact, the first pull has no effect. At the second pull, the window goes down a little bit and the door opens... Then, everything is perfect but I'm still confused. Why have I always pull twice! Not 1, 3 or 4... Weird! No problem from the inside.

does anyone know where this problem may come from?
