What kind of paint do you guys use to paint your grill?

For my grill I used PPG laquer primer, matte black spray paint and then finished off with a PPG clear for a protected gloss look. For some reason I can lay down spray paint with some sick control. The other guy I paint with who is a better painter than I am (when he slows down that is, his rush work is average) is always shocked how good of a color coat I can lay down with spray paint and a good sanding technique.
I just find certain paints easier to work with. Lately, I've been having really good luck and nice results using house enamals for some of our models at work. I just add a little PPG envirobase reducer to it and off I go. I tried them out because it is quicker and easier to run to Home Depot and match a color than wait for my local supplier to mix something up.

Thank You.

No just clean with isopropyl alcohol once its evaporated spray, 3 coats, do not spray too thick. If you dont like it you can just peel it off and go back to stock.
wow very surprising lol

Also any visual of it getting chipped off by rocks or such?

I did 2 coats primer, 3 coats paint then 3 coats clear. I would wet sand between coats of primer and take your time.
