Im not sure what type it is - I’ll have to call first of the week. yeah i’m no fan of that purple dyed stuff. so hopefully its not that!!

 

wrong lol. while it may have happened to you in the past, it is not often the case. I had a 1998 s-10 tinted when I was in high school. Cost me $30 per window, not one issue at all. Before I had the G (about two years ago) I got my trailblazer SS tinted 5% all around. The guy charged me $100. Not a spot of purple, not a issue with bubbling. Just depends on who you go with, and how you maintain it. If you clean tint with ammonia based cleaning products, it will turn purple. You need to use the stuff without it.

I payed 120 for all 5 of mine. 2 Years and no problems.

 

$100 tint is the Dye tint. I will certainly turn purple is couple of years.

 

you guys are wrong , 60 bucks is the fully dye tint!

I paid 120 for a metalic-dyed hybrid tint and my radio works fine. Plus it has a lifetime warranty so w/e if it starts to fade 5+ years down the road its no biggie

 

woah that seems outrageous! this is one instance in which im glad i live in a smaller place (well relatively smaller than nyc or los angeles) birmingham isnt small but its not big like that

 

getn mine done for 170 befor tax, took out my previous tint bc they were going to charge me $50 more for taking it out. material im getting is 28% Ceramic
