so i've been trying to contact the company but no response so far.. bad customer service? they usually respond.. i will try them again

its not that they have bad customer service their US department of the company get messed up sometimes, they actually have good customer service you just have to either wait for an email or send them a second email saying that you are still waiting for a reply

any thief would know that, that "method" of starting a car does not work on newer cars.... also they give you a cap that covers the ignition cylinder so it looks like nothings there, if you decide to place the touch start button somewhere else.

i dotn think they would actually put the key in there, jsut the transponder chip from the key. idk maybe they do... but maybe its liek the ST800, it may have some security elements too...

^ i so luv this OEM feature in my 2nd gen sedan. one of the best features ever.

my boy just bought a 2012 A4 and this feature was a $700 upgrade!
