Maybe it's me, but that doesn't sound Thaaat bad. Personally, if I was going to go through with it I'd prefer it to be around the $150-225 range, but $300 ain't bad if you know you'll like it and stick with it for years.

I would do it for $150 but $300 was cheapest I found here locally. I can't justify to spend $300 on removing a spoiler tho. Maybe a whole new trunk for that price but just to remove spoiler idk..

Not to mention if you have the sport package from factory after 2005, they don't include a 3rd brake light on the rear decklid. So not only are you paying a minimum of $300 to get the ugly *** spoiler removed, you have to either install a rear decklid brakelight yourself or pay somebody to do it. The lighting assembly itself will cost you ~$200 if I remember right, not to mention the price of install. And if you wanted to put on an aftermarket spoiler, another $300 to get it painted and installed. So about $1k to swap OEM for aftermarket spoiler.
