depending on where you got it from, some vendors include the rain guard and others dont, PM the vendor and ask them

Well the reason I'm asking is because I already emailed the company, she told me to look at the articles on the website and I couldn't find anything, the website is carbonfiberhoods.net, if that helps any..

I've been looking at the Seibon TS hood too. How would a rain guard function? Does it just seal off the vents? This would cause buckets of water to sit on your hood while parked. Or would it just allow the water to pass through the hood and then direct it off the side of the engine bay? Hmmmm. Can anyone comment on how bad the lack of a rain guard would be on your engine over time? Especially if I don't park in a garage. It would be nice if any long time owners of this hood could chime in?

Rain guards would function like you expect, allowing the water to pass through the hood vents and then direct it off the engine bay at the front or side.

Having water in your engine bay is not preferred, however most items that are subject to damage by water are sealed, so it is not terrible. It leads to a dirtier engine bay and could leave to rust if in a climate where salt is present...

I have had my hood on for over a year with no problems... however i park my car in a garage at night and it is not exposed to the rain all that often typically

ALSO! Props to you for using the search button - i wish all people would learn this skilll!!
