i want to get my windows tinted... but im afraid that itll mess up the auto dimming mirror.....
for those of you that tinted your windows... did it mess up your auto dimming mirror?????

 

Will it mess up you dimming mirror?

Well yes and no.

Because you have a tint, the lights in your review won't be as bright, so you won't need the auto-dimmer as often.

However I believe the dimmer has the sensor in the mirror itself so it would still dim if lights were bright through the tint.

 

One real problem to be aware of with real tint is that the attena's for the radio are in the rear window.

Putting on the tint decreases your signal slightly.
You should still get any strong signal just as well, but since I'm in northern colorado and listen to some quirky ones, I did lose the ability to get them clear all the time.
