04 to 06 Headlights

Hey guys,

I have a 04 G coupe and i can get a really good deal on 06 headlights.

question is what is the major diffrent between the wiring?

I know i can use the 04 wiring for these lights minus the landing strip right?

And i can switch the bulbs for the top projectors but what about low beams
and fogs? is there something i can do to switch those over to hid's as well?

can someone help me here i dont wanna miss out on this deal but i also want complete hid's on the new setup no Hallowgens

Everything is a plug and play. Switch the old ballast to the new headlight and re-use all your old bulbs.

If you want to put HIDs on your fogs all you need to do is buy a HID kit and it plugs to the factory just need to find a good place to put the ballasts. go to www.sylvania.com to check the fogs bulb size. Is not hard at all I did it on my wife's camry.

good luck.... just did this on my car along with a retrofit, custom paint, new lenses (for the projectors, leds, and all new bulbs. But unless you have the wiring harness for the newer headlights you have to solder and rewire almost everything ..... This is because the blinker, highbeams (bi-xenon cutoff), DRL, and fog are all different between the two lights. Although if you are just need a new ballast and thats it then yes its just plug and play. hit me up on pm if you have any questions I can walk you through it.

^ not sure what you're talking about, but going from 04 to 06 is plug and play 100%. No rewiring at all. The 04 ballast transfers right over.

correct, if you are just transferring over ballasts then plug n play, but i said in my last post if you put an 04 wiring harness in an 06 it is far from plug n play. read my post again. and if you need wiring diagrams for both years i have them too....
