Re: HID upgrade from Halogen
i upgraded my early sedan and it wasn't that difficult. It'll take about 1-3 hours depending on the tools you have at your disposal. I got my kit from hid-online.com and it was the 6000K ultinon kit. It was a night and day difference and worth every penny.
Where do you live? If in the NW, I can help you put it in.
Abbreviated Process:
1. jack up car and remove wheel (optional on the wheel but makes it much easier to work)
2. attach power cables to + battery
3. attach - ground wire to car chassis/frame
4. install ballast with zip ties and/or double sided tape to flat surface
5. attach wiring harness (+ battery and - chassis wire) to ballast.
6. attach bulb to ballast
7. drill hole into plastic cap behind the headlight assembly
8. push bulb through cap and install in headlight assembly.
Done.
It sounds a little more complex than it really is.
