Do what?

If you always do what you always did you will always get what you always got.

Re: Debadging

i like it.. i debadged my G35 sign.. and left the rest.... i think that if i just take of the I N FI I N I T I... it will look ugly with taht lil infinit sign jus chillen there.. so i might leave it as is without the G#% or take it all offf. o ya i have a blk / blk coupe

Re: Debadging

I think it would nice with the "skyline" letters where "infiniti" used to be.

Re: Debadging

That's what I will do. G35 only. Too much rear end on the sedan. Need something to break it up.

Re: Debadging

Ewwww - that red one looks empty. I do like that blue G without the "G35" - I might consider doing that.

Since people seem willing to do anything to stnad out from the crowd these days, I wonder why no one has rearranged the "INFINITI" letters yet. You can spell things like nifty-"NIFTI" or if your a Nine Inch Nails fan - "N I N".

Re: Debadging

OK... the CB coupe looks good without the G35 emblem but the logo and letters need to stay.

Re: Debadging

Just to calm everyone down...

1) the red coupe is not mine, I have a CB coupe
2) it is a skyline which had its badging removed and Infiniti badging applied

Re: Debadging

Yup, 2 holes in the trunk. I guess they are for the people on the assembly line to get it straight. I filled them with silicone and grinded down the pegs on the back of the insignia. Then I got some very strong magnets at the craft store and grinded those to fit inside the back of the insignia. I covered the magnets with glue from a hot glue gun. Last thing to do is put a felt backing on it now. It looks great on the car (just like the original). Now I don't have to wash around the insignia and inside it leaving dirt and wax buildup etc.

If you always do what you always did you will always get what you always got.
