1200 miles, might need to tow...

Anybody have experience with towing with the '04 Sedan? I've moved several times and condensed most of my stuff but I keep accumulating things along the way and may need a small trailer this time when i go from Texas to Arizona. I'm tired of throwing away and selling off all my belongings. I won't be bringing anything heavy like a bed or old television, just might need extra space for boxes of the smaller things. maybe a trailer tailored to hold 400 pounds total, if even that much?

Um... I've only seen two G's (online) that have towed anything, and those were coupes. I think one guy was towing a jet ski or motorcyle. Can't remember.

But, you mention Texas to AZ -

My thoughts: If you have a tow hitch already, I HIGHLY recommend getting a trans cooler. These cars were NOT made for towing. The transmission may be similar to the Titan's, but we don't get cooling upgrades with our tow package, know what I mean?

Make sure you get a quality cooler, such as a stacked plate Earl's cooler (like all those fancy Setrab coolers, minus the high cost).

I know nothing about towing, but I wouldn't go too nuts. Why not get a Pod or something like that? Or just rent a U-Haul and tow your car? It'd probably parallel the cost of installing a hitch.
