I read either here or somewhere that the Grubbs version is not modded to bolt on. It required like some 'grinding' or some pretty rough labor to get it to fit. But then I also read in this thread a guy mentioning a 10 yr old kid could mod them to fit......Im confused, and all I know is I want the piece.

It's no big deal. The Grubbs unit requires 2 holes to be drilled. I drilled one small hole under the red circled plug for a hole to hold the white angle piece that attached to the top. Too see what I mean look at the battery side, you'll see the same angle piece there. I also drilled a hole for the bolt near the back for a bolt that I added to secure to the filewall (yellow circle).

Just installed my JDM battery brake fluid cover. Looks alot nicer IMO, guys just be careful when drilling holes, it takes a steady hand not to drill into your Z tube from one side, and into your L 'low' pressure silver AC line on the other. As I was reversing the bit from the hole, I was a bit careless and the drill bit I used slightly brushed against the line and gave it a tiny scratch. I hope this wont lead to AC problems down the line....

now to get the covers painted...
