Recommend a New Hood

Well, got into a collision (totally my fault) and need a new hood. Looking for a vented hood that will be relatively safe for my daily driver. In other words, one that does nto let too much water in during rain or anything like that.

Any ideas/recommendations?

It's been shown here that any vented hood won't cause issues with rain. Theres always the potential. It happens no more with vented than nonvented.
Not true. The vent covers can be kept on for daily driving, and then when there is a time when you want to keep the temps cooler (say, a track day), you remove the vent covers.

I ended up getting the AMS Slayer, which comes with a rain guard, that seems to be quite easy to remove and attach when needed.

post pics of your car, if you aren't pretty decently modded and already aggressive looking a vented hood will look just plain out of place and stupid.

So why ask for recommendations if you're just going to do whatever you want in the end?

Kind of defeats the purpose...

If you check the dates, the initial post and when I said I got the hood was about a week. I took recommendations in mind (of which there were few) and decided.

Thanks for your input.

holy crap you can edit your post and put in your extra questions, no need for a new post every time back to back when he hasn't even responded to the first one

Install was easy, but it is two person job, since someone has to hold the hood in place while you bolt it in. Fitment was good and the hood looks good.

Sorry bro............didn't mean to offend you. I normally would do that but I needed to get my posts up so I can use the classified section. Was hoping to fly under the radar on that but you caught me
