DB Volk GT-7, Kenstyle Kit, Lamborghini Paint: Project Pics Updated
Well...after two months of waiting, my KenStyle bodykit finally arrives.
Below are some pics I snapped when the kit arrived at the body shop. Since they are not ready to be installed, I didn't want to open the box with the bumpers, but did take some quick pics of the side steps.
I bought the kit through Istoreparts.com
They are authorized by SPW to distribute the kits. If you are interested, email Justin (sales@istoreparts.com) and let him know Vinh sent you. He'll give you a great price...better than BulletProof.
Can't wait until it gets installed and painted...
if you've been following some of the project, the car will be getting a new paint job...Giallo Orion, as well as some new wheels

Did you have stock parts on before you bought this?
If not what color is your car? Id be happy to buy some of the body stuff from you if it's white. Id imagine youd need some money for a big project coming up.
Let us know how it goes!

Hey Phil...
Image Autobody
South San Francisco, CA
Here are the pics I promised you...
Far shot of the front bumper...notice the fog light color scheme we discussed as well as the emblem
Close-up of foglight
Close-up of emblem...notice the area around the grill (outlined in red). It is painted a flat black to give the illusion that the grill is a separate piece from the bumper. I'd like to keep this same paint scheme. The emblem area should be kept flat back.
I thought about painting it yellow like the car, but having it black will make the logo appear to float as well as have it blend into the grill. Please let me know if you have suggestions.
Here's a picture of the rear bumper...notice the areas painted flat black. I'd like to keep this color scheme
here's another angle of the rear bumper
and here's a picture of the side sill...as discussed, please remove the emblem and fill in the space with filler to give the side sill a smooth look.
My goal is to carry a color theme through the car as much as possible. Starting with the foglight, to the grill, to the base of the side mirror and finally part of the rear bumper. This will give the car some black throughout the sea of yellow.

pics of engine bay...
hey Phil,
Here are the pictures of the engine bay along with the engine cover and battery covers.
My car has a battery cover on both sides and I'd like both sides painted.
As you can see in the original picture of the engine cover, they painted the outside edge. I'd like to keep the outside edge black but paint the inside yellow.
Pls mask off the Infiniti symbol as well the V6, 3.5. If you have the time and patience, can you paint the the V6, 3.5 area that is currently red into black?

yes yes yes... this kit is so super clean. we saw it at SEMA, in the SPW booth this year. it got a lot of attention, and rightfully so. we get alot of calls for this kit. can't wait to see it in another color than the kenstyle skyline blue.
