Question Anyone use overlays for their roofs?

I was looking into painting my g35 sedans roof top black, but my uncle said there are black vinyl overlays. Any of you guys use it? Is it easy to apply to your roof top?

if you go with 3M di-noc or something thick, you will be able to do it yourself. Did mine with di-noc. took me 30min to complete the whole thing.

You're going to need a lot more than 3 feet. I've dine my sedan and others multiple times and have used 60"x64"

I used bluebat for mine, installation is a bit tricky but just takes time, patience, and another person. I thought I botched it initially but after it was out in the sun it looks great. Going with one of his certified installers will be much easier and guarantee it is done well. It won't look nearly as nice as paint, but as long as you understand that going in you should be happy.
