Personally I wouldn't recommend SpecD unless the price of good OEM headlights is a problem.

Brighter doesn't mean better, it's hard to beat the stock housing.

If you're looking at aftermarket then SpecD is probably your best option.

The OEM is too expensive. I'm thinking to go with the cheap ebay set and downgrade from the current HID to Halogen if this setup will work. The cheap ebay set doesn't have the HID option for 03 sedan.

Have you checked your local pick-n-pull scrap yards for any 2003-2006 sedans? You can normally pick up headlights for dirt cheap at those places. At very least you could confirm the plug is the same.

From what I read on this site, only the 03-04 will fit my car. I did check the junk yards in my area and the ones they have are the xenon headlights but they all have broken tabs.

Ahhh well I'm a coupe guy so that makes sense why I had forgotten that part

That changes things a little I suppose since your options are now, factory halogen, factory HID reflector, or aftermarket.

In that case I would still go with factory, but the HID reflector ones. After using halogens for literally decades, then being spoiled by reflectors and then projectors I can't go back. I also hate that the industry went to trash LED lights because they're cheaper than projectors.

HID projector is the king of the road, it provides the absolute maximum lumens to see at distance without dazzling oncoming drivers, most factory LED push too many lumens and if you're the oncoming driver sitting low to the road in a car then you're getting dazzled. Most aftermarket LED have terrible scattered light and are even worse.

Aftermarket reflector HID is a massive step up from halogen, even when compared to halogens like the Sylvania silverstar lamps.

I suppose there's also the option of doing a 2005-2006 front end conversion if you can find one of the right color in your local pick-n-pull

Check eBay. I got a really good used pair of OEM headlights out of Michigan for $400. Included the ballasts and bulbs.
