Sunroof Sealment

I noticed today that my sunroof does not seem to close/seal all the way. At least that is what I'm thinking. When I was on the highway today, I was hearing a squeal coming from the sunroof area. I'm assuming it was from the wind. It was incredibly obnoxious and would get pretty loud at times. If I opened the sunroof, the noise would go away. Also, if I just had it popped open in the back, it also went away. The noise was only made when the sunroof was completely closed. Any ideas on what the problem is an what I can do to fix it?

Thanks!

i have the same exact problem! drives me nuts! I also think it's the seal. Took it in to the dealer a couple of times before but still not fixed. They wouldn't be able to duplicate the problem because the noise only happens above 80. I'm thinking about taking it in to just have them replace the seal to see if the noise will go away.

Did you ever get this fixed?

i know this is an old post but i just found a fix after all these years! I placed a piece of weather stripping (foam tape) from home depot on the front of the sunroof frame so that the glass seal can make a tight seal against the frame. as far as i can tell, that did the trick!
