Question Splash Guards

I have been wondering how many members have the G35 splash guards installed? do they add or subtract from the looks of the coupe? I am considering getting the rears and am looking for comments. thanks

I like the splashguards. I was not sure at first and I did I bunch of search on it. I am real glad I have them now they seem to blend nicely with the design. To me ,a G35 looks like something is missing if it doesn't have them.

definitely a worthwhile investment. so many people have complimented them thinking they were some sort of factory kit, especially the rear. they blend very nicely and lower the stance a bit.

correct me if I'm wrong, but there are only one type of front and rear oem splash guards right? I was just trying to figure out if there was a difference between the $200 splash guards listed as a factory accessory and the the "Aero body" splash guards that are included in the Aerodynamic body kit.

Also, what are "under covers"? (included in the Aerodynamic bit kit with spoiler)

Thanks,
Jason

*Edit: The sedan splash guards are redesigned to be body colored whereas the coupe splash guards remain the same. The splash guards are different for sedan and coupe... DINOONE is talking about the sedan but the original poster has a coupe.

As for the aerodynamic body kit I believe the splash guards are the same as the ones you can buy from the factory for the coupe.

thanks for the feedback everyone, I have decided to get both front and rear guards. (I have also ordered the clear corners but they seem to be on backorder everywhere)

last Wednesday I went to my dealer and looked at 05 coupes (with 19" wheels) side by side w/wo the guards and decided that they do add a lot to the looks. I went to parts and ordered them and they called Friday morning and said they were in and that they had a loaner for me if I wanted them installed that morning, it worked out great! thanks for the advice.

You were lucky to get them, lots of the peeps are having trouble getting them through their dealers.

NO, the aero kit is NOT just the splash guard. They include an underbody air diffuser that lowers your G's drag co-efficient from 0.27 to 0.26.

Definitely get the splash guards...they blend nicely. Go to a dealer and and find a car with/without and see the difference. if I had a choice between splash guards and the front lip spoiler (which I have both installed..horray for me) I would opt for the guards, they add meat to the body of the car
