Wipers stuttering

Hey guys,

I noticed the other day that when i turn my wipers off from being on intermittent, or a quick squirt, they kind of stutter or jump on the way back down to their resting place.

They dont do this if i turn them on low or high, only when i turn them off.

Im not sure if the wiper transmission assembly needs some grease, or something is loose.

Anyone run into this?

Thanks

Before you do something crazy, try cleaning your windshield. Begin by claying the windshield, you won't believe what kinda crud you'll find. Then do the normal cleaning with Windex or whatever you normally use. It should be clean now, when was the last time you replaced your windshield wiper blades? OE blades work best....Gary

Pardon my ignorance, but what is "claying" the windshield? lol

Its just strange that it only does it when they are on their last trip back down to resting place.

Possibly sticky relay contacts?
