Best way to change "clearance light" bulbs?

Best way to change "clearance light" bulbs?

Just did my clear corners and I bought matching bulbs for my "clearance lights"... how do you get at those bulbs to replace them? Didn't want to start wrencing. I tried a search and looked in the manual.

Directions...anyone!?

raise the fornt end and if you can remove the front wheels. detach the front half of the fender liner and access the bulbs through the wheel well.

Nope he's not kidding. It's not as hard as it sounds. I would replace your fog/high beams while you were at it. Get rid of all the dingy yellow bulbs. Email me and I will send you detailed instructions.

Short answer: pull them bitches. Technical answer: I feel there is NO need to remove the wheel to change any of the bulbs. Hell, you don't even need to jack the car up. I simply turn the wheel to the right if I'm working on the left side and pop 3 of those little clips. After that, you'll be able to pry the liner back enough to see the back of the front side marker and you'll be able to push/pull it out with ease. After you unplug the bulb from it of course. And to get at the other lights, simply move upward.

Now granted, it may be tight at times (seems to be tighter on the passenger side) but it's easier than removing wheels and jacking the car up.
