Can my bumper get fixed? or do I have to replace?
I got rear-ended by my neighbor a few weeks back, wondering if you guys think it could be fixed, i haven't had time to go to any shops since I don't have the car at the moment, and she didn't had insurance , so I'll have to pay it out of my own pocket.
thanks!
thanks!
Just wait for a HOT day, stick your hand behind it and push it out. It should pop out. Might have some paint damage or a little warping... but itll look better than that!
Yup! she hit me with her biggass Tahoe hitch! called her insurance, they told me that she didn't pay her insurance that day so they wont cover! (cheap insurance)
So now I'm wondering if it can get repair since she hit it right where that pretty little curve is.
or if i have to buy a new one

u should get the bitch fined for not having insurance

You can always use a heatgun to push it out but becareful not to melt the paint. And like saywat? said, turn her in! Small claims is cheap as hell and I'd take it there! If she's driving a Tahoe then she can afford to pay for your damage. If she doesn't have insurance threaten her with police involvement or she can give you money on the side for the repairs....
I don't wanna threaten nobody but thanks for the help, I guess I should have explained if It could be repaired professionally! to make it look like it used to! that's what i meant.
I have the same exact issue. I took bumper off, used a heat gun and pushed it out. Now I'm left with some black scratches that look bad up close, and a very slight deformation.
If I used body filler on the imperfect section, I don't know how I would spray the bumper... would I need to rough up the entire bumper and sand it and then spray it? I hear body shops are quite expensive when it comes to spraying things...
