after market muffler

this might be a a dumb question but i wanted to put an after market muffler on. i used to have a g20 and ill they had to do was just take the old one off then weld the new one on. but is it that simple with the g35 coupe. do i need to buy an actual cat back system or can i just buy 2 mufflers and they can weld them on. here is a picture of the one i want. any advice would be great and also what is the price for getting them installed. thanks

As a fellow previous P11 owner where the Remus axle-back was the bees-knees, I'll simply tell you to actually look under your car and see if that idea would work.

As far as that linked muffler................

Not sure what the megan racing sound like but you might want to check out this thread.

Just remember a good sounding exhaust is subjective.
One man's trash is anothers treasure.
Even though I provided a link to vids there is no substitute for hearing it in person.

See my post here https://g35driver.com/forums/6773307-post13.html

Then do some searching.

Mainly look through this thread: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-cou...mpilation.html

Oh I thought you had a sedan. Disregard my link then.
I don't think I know of ANYONE that has had megan for the coupe.
Plenty of research will be your best bet

Most popular for coupe are:
Motordyne
Fast Intentions
HKS
ARK GRiP
Fujitsubo

Just replacing the muffler, checkout www.magnflow.com they'll have what you want and it will sound better than OE. Replacing the OE exhaust with aftermarket, attend a few meets so you can hear the systems in person before you lay down those big $$. Vids don't do our exhaust systems justice for the cool way they sound.
