I can one up that. ECU is set to 7100. How does a 7k shift sound? Easy. And no, the ECU does not over ride. I'd sell the car.

Have you found anything?
They are a well know company, they say they have a product that works with out transmission, what else documentation do you need? The only install I personally know of is a G37 auto with GTM stage 2 twin turbo kit. Think he is currently the fastest auto 1/4 as well with an 11.4.

Level 10 is the number 1 for auto transmissions for the VQ platform. They use the PCS controller on all of their high power builds. I think there are acouple G35 owners with level 10 trannys.

No it is not a popular mod of the G. The G35 is not a performance car to begin with, those few people that do use it in a performance aspect, don't buy an automatic.

WhoseURBuddiee is correct about quicker shifts with Transgo upgrade.

G35 transmission is programmed for slower smoother shifting because (loosely stated) its a luxury sports car. TransGo increases line pressures to pistons which allow quicker engagement of clutches (piston compresses clutch discs)

Uprev tuning/reprogramming will eliminate need for PCS module.

Do not have Stillen reprogram valve body. Had them modify my VB 6 years ago and lead to several transmission issues and eventually trans clutches burned up.

I Rebuilt VB with TransGo kit and could not see any discernible modification done by Stillen.

HotRod is right, the PCS module and Uprev flash are very similar. They do essentially the same thing to the TCM. Both can change shift points and adjust some latency.
The only real difference is that the PCS is on the fly switchable (sport, comfort, towing, ect modes) and the PCS can control torque converter lockup (but would need an upgraded GTM TC).

All right! Here is the video of the paddle shift kit in action, the link was just sent to me today directly from Innovative. They said they have a few more videos that will be posted and they will send me a link once they are up.

+1. I didn't see anything either. I heard him press it a couple times when downshifting, but his hands didn't move when upshifting

You can see him press it at around the 1:15 mark. Seems pretty responsive.

^^ Agreed!

I've been really looking into paddle shifters for a while too now and have read through everyones comments. If anyone has used the HNP, please share your experience.

This dude from a 350z forum has actually installed the Works Bell shifters and is very satisfied with it.
Check him out here ..
http://www.350z-tech.com/forums/141-...e-shifter.html

With that being said, you would think a company who is trying to convince people that their wireless paddle shifters have no lag wouldn't record the video with a potato in the back seat...
I would expect a properly mounted camera facing the side of the steering wheel to show when he clicks so you can match that with the sound and tachometer when it actually gears up/down.
Considering the Works Bell is only $60 different I would way rather have it wired than wireless.

Wireless is good for iPod speakers, aftermarket back up cameras, maybe phone chargers.. Not paddle shifters imo
Also, since this is mounted on the steering wheel, wouldn't you have to disconnect the airbag and all the wiring from the steering column?? Seems like a little too much work coupled with being risky messing with your airbag. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Perhaps this is a better video of the HNP in action
