Does anyone know which replacement bulb for the clearance light would be a perfect match with the corner and the turn signal? I want to change it to all amber, but I am having trouble which bulbs to purchase. Please help. I was looking into purchasing the amber bulbs by Polarg. Any opinions?

I just wanted to add that I just recently purchased my 2005 G35 Cpe 6MT / Laser Red / Graphite Leather on January 31st and I am very pleased with this car! All the info that I am reading on this site is very helpful!

I bought a pair of PIAA amber bulbs and they DO NOT match the color of the stock amber bulbs at all. They are much more yellow. I'll find out the style/part # when I get home so you guys can avoid them.

They are the PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow #19173. They DO NOT match the stock amber.

Can't you also just buy 4 of any amber bulb and replace both the clearance light and the clear corner? Would you then not match with the blinker?

Good question, but I rather keep the stock clear corner on. I have run into the police so many times that I know what to do and not to do to my car. Clear corners are a sign to the police that if this driver has an illegal modifcation to that piece, then there must be other pieces on the car that has illegal modifications. If the cop can't find anything, you will just get a ticket for the clear corners. Some cops will be nice and let you go, but the others will try to ticket you for everything. California sucks. Cant really do anything to your car.

Sure, but you might not get the same hue of amber as the blinker.

Cops...I don't like cops, I really don't. I realize that they do serve a very important civic duty, but the majority of cops that I have met in my life are egotistical childlike a$$h0les. It seems to me that most are on a powertrip, and many are corrupt to some degree. The job itself seems to attract weak people who seek power over others.

To all of you good cops out there, congratulations and we love you all. Keep up the good work.
To all of you that dont fall into that category, I hope you realize that you are killing what once used to be a very honorable profession. Leave drivers alone and pursue real criminals.

I'd say a total of over 100 in 5 or more states. And by met, I mean talked to for at least 10 minutes...not just traffic stops or anything of the sort. My job requires paramedic duties.

For the good ones I have met and that I know are out there...I wouldn't trade you for the world...
But to those (and you know who you are) stop unethical behavior.

So by chatting casually with 100+ police officers for 10 minutes or less you have come to the conclusion that the majority of them are "egotistical childlike a$$h0les", "on a powertrip", "corrupt to some degree" and "weak people who seek power over others".

Are you like one of those Amazing Kreskin type guys that can see things about people? What an amazing talent. You need your own TV show.

I knew that comment would draw comments like that. If you are a good cop then my opinions do not apply to you, now do they?

Can you not get a feel for someone's attitude by working with them day in and day out? If you a police officer worth you salt you can peg people almost immediately.

And if you would read correctly, I said AT LEAST 10 min...most are working relationships of months. I do feel that amount of time can give you a very good impression of someone's personality, and I have worked with a variety of law enforcement officials in many many cities, and my comments reflect my general impression of those I have worked with.

Again, if you are an honorable police officer, then my opinions should not apply to, nor affect, you.
