rear ended, guess the damage $$

So I woke up Monday morning to find my car had been smashed into while parked. Rear-ended hit and run with no note or anything. I'm concerned that my insurance company will lowball the value of the damages and not cover my aftermarket parts appropriately for what they are worth.

-3 stage Maserati Nero Carbonio Black Metallic Paint Job
- Full CF Mastergrade trunk, ghost painted in the center
-Exhaust bent, carbon fiber diffuser

I have an appointment on Thursday to have Progressive evaluate the damages. I don't have additional "accessories" insurance, however, my policy does state that the car has a current premium value of $35K with aftermarket parts. Is there anything I should do to ensure I get the most compensation from my insurance company for the true value of the damages?

any guesses on how much this damage will be?

I dont think ins will cover the ghost. But everything else should be covered. They use stk part cost for estimate. Which is higher cost than after market parts. You should be ok. I had somebody in February back into my G35X and leave. Wiped out the stk muffler little damage to bumper. The cost fo infiniti muffler was $560. I told geico I will get the exhaust. I git a megan oe rs muffler and had custom mid pipe made total cost $435. Looks like $6000-8000 in damage Im not a body man but had almost same damage to my Audi a6 quattro it was $7500.

Sorry bout your coupe!

If you're lucky they won't total your coupe! Best guess is $8K to $9K! Your pic are the best argument for not parking on the street...Gary

Allstate only covers the first $1500 of non-OEM parts, check your fine print.

That looks like $8K-$9K worth of damage, maybe more considering the aftermarket parts you have.

If the rear-bumper impact bar is damaged, they might total it :-/

I'm sorry to see this, I hate seeing these threads.

I know when I signed up with Geico they asked me to disclose any aftermarket parts with dollar amounts which raised my monthly premium.
