Interior wood trim

Hello all, just wondering how I can get a hold of the wood interior console piece/trim for an 06 G35 Coupe. I heard that the G35 Sedan was the only one to get the wood console but it looks like the console's are interchangeable. The aluminum looks "ok" as it is but it reflects like crazy, right into my eyes...no way around it either, tried adjusting my seat but it's just too wide an area of reflection, I almost have to be in the rear seats to get away from this. Anyway, I kind of rest my hand on the trim to keep it from getting me in the eyes, but, if there is a factory wood trim option (not appliques) I wouldn't mind trying that out for a bit, might make the interior a little classier than this sort of "boy racer" thing going on with all of this aluminum (yeah, I am probably one of the few that feels that the aluminum is kind of played out, kind of "high school", though I guess it beats painted plastic).

Anyway, I am really surprised how little information there is on this trim modification, google searches have not yielded anything on how to get a hold of these interior pieces (the console and ashtray). I think there is one on ebay, but at $50 for the console and $40 for the ashtray, I feel like I should go to a pick a part, when I head to the Phoenix metro the next time, but, that's 140 miles to the nearest one just to find out it's probably a POS. Any one have a connection to where I can get a hold of these pieces, maybe even just more pictures? All I see are these awful looking appliques EVERYWHERE, those things look horrible on any car, so I really don't want to go that route if I don't have to.

Wood Trim was something you had to special order if i remember right. They came in the G35 coupes as well , it all depends if the person who bought the car brand new special ordered the wood trim.

Interesting, I guess I will start calling around junkyards in Phoenix and California, also use the AARA part search then. Kind of curious to see if the wood console and ashtray section might actually look good with the aluminum on the radio. I have a feeling it's going to be a hit or miss situation, either it looks good or doesn't. Either way, I have to get rid of this glare.

I have the wood trim in my G35 coupe, IMO I prefer it over the aluminum.
