Trunk will not open

Hello everybody!

I am a new member here. Recently we bought a 04 G35x. I was my girlfriend work car and it was offered at a good price. It is a very good car and she likes it. I will try to fix most of the stuff my self. The most annoying think right now is that the trunk will not open. I am not getting power to the lock. I did not find any fuze for this think. Anybody had this problem before?
Any help would be very appreciated.

Thank you

Check the lower passenger side glove box and flip the switch in there. It locks the trunk from valets and such. Check that!

Also the wiring harness where the bend is could have frayed wires from the repeated motion of opening and closing. Thats what happened to mine.

Never knew about the switch in the glove box, never noticed it. Good to know!
