Okay so I need advice,

I have a DG G35 with a carbon fiber hood.
However the hood seems to be fading from the sun I guess . My body shop told me they can fix that by sanding and adding clear or something like that but I wanted to paint my hood the same color as the car but still be able to see the weave through. I've never seen a DG like that so I don't know how that will look . What do you guys think ?

Eh u can add a tint (paint isn't common) to cf, like the pic u provided, but tinting an already blackish grayish cf hood to get closer to dg is just weird and irrational. Ur best bet is to get it re-glossed in my opinion.
