My fan blower is making a weird chirping sound almost like its grinding and its been bad sense the winter temperatures started to get cold. Lately i've noticed its making the sound when taking corners or hitting small speed bumps or other humps in the road. Once the fans warmed up then the chirping only happens on higher fan speeds.
Its weird and I'm tired of feeding money into my car as it seems that's all i've been doing lately.

 

Blown motor getting rough. Mines doing the same. If you want you can remove it and take a look at it. It's under the glove box. Three screws. Give it a turn and see if you can feel it grind. Might be able to use some wd40 and see if that lubricates it and stops the grinding. If not a replacement is like 68.00 on rockauto.

 

THAT is awesome to hear! Everything I've been replacing has been expensive on my car and sense i bought it its been nothing but one thing after another so a fairly cheap part like this is a huge relief. Ill have to check that out one of these days it warms up. Thanks!
