It lasts a long time, I still have my emblems dipped after two years and they have gone through the car wash many times.

As far as failing, I noticed that car wax in the sun will leave spots in it, almost like oil stains.

Okay.... Being the one on this forum that dips probably the most..... I dipped my car brown left it for about 2 years... Then I re dipped it over the brown, been like that for almost a year now. Dip holds up if your not a moron.

Now the headlight... They don't reccomendm you spray anything on your headlight... Some chemicals cause headlights to fog haze or go yellow... Different cars have different specs on headlights. Also if it's pitted sometimes you can't get the dip out of the Pitts... Then people use solvent or goo gone and ruin something.

Your welcome... Just use common sense. Watch the videos... Over and over and over... I've seen them all so many times but it helped me out with the prepping and dipping and everything.
