Exclamation Confused!!!!

Ok this s might sound stupid but it need help. On factory headlight assembly, I have my high beam low beam turn signal and there's a light build right next to my high beam bulb but it doesn't turn on. I have no idea why it's there and what does it do. I have tried with my lights on, and nothing. Any ideas would be helpful thanks it's an 04 G35 Sedan

It's always on when you turn your lights on in any position. If it's not coming on its burnt out. Replace with a 194 wide angle LED for maximum performance.
