Duraflex Ken style rear bumper install

HELP NEEDED installing Ken style rear bumper
I have a duraflex ken style rear bumper for my project car and I can't figure out how to mount this thing. It was previously on a g35 so I know it fits, I feel like I'm missing something important. Every time I go to make it line up it just keeps fighting me. Has anyone that has installed one have any tips? Thank you.
