I have recently done some minor damage to my 2005 G35x front bumper cover. When I looked online to find a replacement various sellers had separate version for the g35 and g35x. as far as I can tell there is no difference btw them. my question is there any actual difference or can I just buy the cheaper g35 bumper cover?

 

The visual difference (in sedan) is that the x cover has an additional third void in the bumper, right in the center between the two outboard larger voids that have the screens. The center one has no screen. It's a narrow horizontal slot. I do not know if there is any difference in the fitment.
