One annoying issue that I have is I have a rust spot bubbling up on my rear quarter panel. The rust bubble is located where the red dot is in the picture. The picture is of the left rear quarter panel, the rear bumper is to the right and the edge of the rear door is on the left. On my vehicle it's on the right rear quarter panel. Is there a blocked drain of some kind that's causing the rust? I'd like to address it. TIA
I'm trying to find the root cause. Is there a hole somewhere that is causing water to collect there and rust out the panel?
Its a small spot that collects salt and debris during the winter, causing it to rust. No hole, but the lip from the fender and the grommet for the bumper areas that will collect salt water/slush. Oil spraying the car helps, but most cars in areas that use salt will eventually start rusting in that location.
