Hi,just finish with my clear corners and stripes DIY
my next mod is window tint..my car is sliver..but dont know wat color tint i should get that fint my car the hottest!...any advice for me?
oh yet..i live in NyC how many % without COPS search into my car or leaving me a ticket for tinted windows..
and does anything know a good price tint shop in nyc? or within 30min away from brooklyn?thx

 

Well I live 10mins from NYC as well on the NJ side. I am not sure about NY but in NJ you are not allowed to have any tint on the front 2 windows. I think I am going to go 50% all the way around. I was never a big fan of dark limo tint as I think it looks kind of cheap. If you find a place let me know, I am looking for a place to do the job too.

 

If you want a nice, classy looking tint... I'd go with Huper Optiks. They have 30% and 40% cermanic tints. A bunch of us went with James Tint in Middletown, NY. Very nice job and probably the best price you can get anywhere... You can visit his website: www.jamestint.com

This is the second car I got tinted there. This time I went lighter; 35% on sides, 20% rear. It came out to $200 even. They go all the way to the top of the window, great quality.

I got a coment from a DT once about my old car with 20% all around. If you drive like an assh0le expect cops to break your ***** with the tints. If you are concerned, get 35 sides, 20 rear. You shouldn't have any problems.Personally, I liked 20% all around a lot better.
