I like the hood but I'm not a fan of CF on any color but black for some reason. Don't ask me why haha.

I am sorry to say but it looks like you were in a wreck and bought a hood from the junk yard and still have not painted it to match your factory color. That blue one looks bad ***. Please paint that thing to match OEM. You are driving a $40K luxury sports car for christ's sake! It's your car though...what ever floats boat dude.

so what do you do when it rains? Let it rain through the vents?

However, having the option of painting it down the road is def one im gonna keep in mind...mos def in a similar scheme to your "faded" paint job...

Now all i need is Gold Volks and Red Seats and ill be the JDM KING!!! hahaha
it seems the trend now is to have theCF parts painted and show alittle bit of CF, if u do, leave the vent black, cuz that looks really nice

and yea, gold volk racing rims + some red bride buckets would be really nice....

thats what i'd do if i were driivng a coupe and not a sedan.

my dream is to have a white coupe with TS widebody + lots of carbon parts that provide downforce

Most CF hoods come with an underpanel to keep water out.

Thanks for all the comments...ive been really enjoying the "new look" that the hood has provided. People stop me all the time and ask about, wanna touch it, and open it to feel how light it is...really cool!

As for painting it, im still thinking up a perfect scheme for a custom paint job...but will prally wait a while to do this or until i buy some other body parts to have them all painted at the same time.

i wouldnt paint it either. If your gonna paint it, you might as well have kept the OEM hood. our hoods are aluminum if I am not mistaken...therefore its not like they are that much heavier than the CF in the first place... I have gunmetal wheels and tint and BATS overlays in place and my car's BS so it might look diff. on my car, but Im looking at an OEM style CF hood...no vents/scoops for me. There really is a lack of nice aftermarket hoods for our cars IMO..

Gunmetal or Gold??? Which wheels would look better in your opinions?

Gunmetal would set off the CF hood...

Gold would be Super-JDM with the CF hood...

Daamn.

It's not that much lighter than the stock hood, is it?
