Painting CONSOLE

Hi guys, this is stemmed off of G352NV's post

I want to paint my console area black, and I want it to be as close to an OEM finish as possible... what type of paint am I look at? And what time of coats or process would have it looking oem?

Thanks!!

Base/Clear just take all your parts to a bodyshop and get a price. If your going to use real paint then this is something you dont want to try for a first time. I have about four coats of clear on mine.
