Door Frame Exterior Trim

I noticed the other day when I rolled my driver window down there was a piece of the rubber trim stuck on the inside on the top of my window. The trim is located above the inner door frame and forms a seal with the top of the window. I suspect its from the window automatically rolling down and then back up when the door is opened/closed with the rubber trim wet. Does anyone else have this problem or does everyone wipe this part of the trim whenever they wash their car?
