well the mold is already finished.... it will be a perfect fit, just gotta wait one more week. Although 350 beat us, its still gonna be a replica bumper, this is for people who want to keep the orginal or the replica that they purchased with CF without having to deal with repainting.

You guys know that making a mold of the lower center center is completely absurd right?
Why would they tell you that they need to make a new mold for the center section? Your bumper can act as a "pseudo mold" for the carbon if you're only making 1 piece. If you want multiple pieces, then you'd make a mold. Making a mold now of the center lower piece, what you'd have to do is make a piece then CUT your existing bumper in half and glue the two pieces together, which will tkae 2X the work, and won't look half as good.

Tell your body shop to rethink the whole damn thing... OH well. What's been done has been done. Maybe you can tell them to just finish a mold of the entire rear bumper instead? Mating the top and bottom is NOT easy work and will sacrifice a lot structural strength. If you were planning on using the mold to make a "shell" to put on to the original bumper, that'd still be tough as once again, how would you glue this piece on???

its def tough, but they are planning on making a few of the overlay peices, thats why they made a mold. The mold is already complete, they are going to start wrapping it today. They know what they are doing, they have produced some of the best show cars. So i fully trust that the fitment and quality will be great.
