Anyone Have Titanium Tint?

Better known as mirrored tint. I know about the radio reception issue, but with my old 2000 Maxima, there was no problem with reception.

I'm wondering if anyone here has ACTUAL EXPERIENCE with this tint in their G. I understand the inherent risks, so don't lecture me. Again...ACTUAL experience.

Thanks! Oh yeah, is $150 a decent price?

Re: Anyone Have Titanium Tint?

i have it on my old probe. It dosen't look bad, but I don't think it would look good on the G. Too ghetto.

Also something to consider. On my probe a widow peeled and had to be redone, when I went back, weeks later, the exact tint was discountinued, and a different kind had to be used. The reflectiveness was a little different and it does not match EXACTLY. So, you may not be able to match it up exact if you have to get a window re-done in the future.

On the up side, you can't see in worth a DAMN. I have reg black 15% on the G and you can still see in a little.

Instead of the titanium...How about the translucent blue that are on some of the AMG Mercedes cars? I think this would rock severlely on a lightly colored interior of some of the G35's.

I'm not talking about that half mirror, half black tint, I'm talking about the "slightly mirrored" tint. Its not truly mirror, like on a limo.

I'm more interested in RADIO RECEPTION like I mentioned though. Thanks for your opinion. I just don't like getting what everyone else has. Everyone has black tint or if you go into the ghetto areas, you'll see 1/2 black 1/2 mirror.

Now that sh*t is gheheheto!

i got a quantum tint, whcih is basically titanium. semi reflictive. you can actually see better with it than with the black tint. very good at keeping heat out and protecting the interior. only downside is its expensive. plus, it looks way more high class than other cheesy timts.

Re: Anyone Have Titanium Tint?

yeah, i got quantum tint too. i actually like it a lot. i haven't noticed radio reception differences though. but is it considered semi-reflective?

mine's 14% on the back and 37% on the front. on the brilliant silver, it looks goooooood. i'll post pics tomorrow.

and about price, i got mine for $150 with lifetime warranty. make sure you ask about their warranty policy 'cause that'll bite you in the *** if you find a bubble and have to pay to get it fixed.

"GHEHEHETOO" was my best impression of Jim Carry saying "Reheheaaally." Yeah, it was bad.

That's what I said at first, but I usually drive with the windows down anyway. The tint is more for aesthetic reasons. Plus, it leads more to the suspense of "who's behind the wheel!"

Whenever you can post those pics of your car, I'd greatly appreciate it.
