clearing out blinkers

I looked in the DIY forums and found nothing... maybe I'm too tired to see so fogrive me if this is redundant...

but...

Doesn't anyone take out the yellow round blinkers in the headlights? is there a DIY way of clearing them out a-la-baking in the oven?

thanks for any info...

Im sure this has been reviewed before. Basically the headlamp assembly needs to be baked in an oven at a specific temp. for a specific amount of time to break the seal. After somehow cutting/replacing/removing the existing orange turn signal the headlight needs to be resealed. This step is probably most important as I've heard it has to be done perfectly to avoid moisture build up in your headlight assembly. Run a search on orange turn signal and im sure you'll find more than one post. There's even a guy on this forum gdragon who does this for you for a good price....send him a PM...

Yeah... you're going to have to open up your headlights and take out the orange lens. The lens doesnt just pop off, like I first initially thought when first looking into this mod. You're going to have to cut it out, and dremel all the edges out. You're most likely not going to be able to remove all the orange, so you might need to paint over that area to cover the orange. There are some DIY mods somewhere in the forums. Do a search for "black housing headlights", "projector headlights".
