my body shop just told me I will be looking at between $1400 - $2400 is this too much?

heres a list of thing geting painted

front bumper repainted (removing & reinstalling)
new rear factory bumper installing & painting
front lip, rear half bumper & side skirts (preping, fitting & painting kit)
driver side mirror

he said the price really depends on how much work he has to put in to get it to fit perfect..... as you can see in the pics the fit is almost perfect but they're some minor gaps that need to be take care of

that sounds way too much, but then you have a lot of things to get painted... if it was just the kit, i would say from $500 - $1000 would be reasonable...

Whatever they are smoking at that bodyshop tell them I need to buy some!! That is crazy... No more then $850 unless you are having them body mold the sides. It doesnt look like you need any major work to have it fit perfect. You need to find another bodyshop!!

it also depends on where you're located also i think. I head in California its real cheap, because a lot of import cars there... so if you live in the middle of nowhere they will charge you an arm and leg... I'm awaiting my kit to come in to see what kinda price i get, they say they start no lower than $750... and im in TX

I've had bad experinces going with shops offering the lower/lowest price I got what I paid for.... the front lip and rear half bumper need very minor work but i'm not sure on the side skirts though...... he did guarenetee that the job will come at perfect

well at least shop around, if all else fails, come back to that shop, i think $1400 for all that is a lil too expensive.. i would think $500 - $1000 is more reasonable... did they see the kit? what did they say about it? did they tell y ou it will need a lot of prepping, etc.?
