Did i spray them right?

I used this japanese spray on my taillights that make them smoked and it worked well but was wondering if I did it correctly. I taped off everything around the light and just sprayed it on the outside. Is this right or should I have sprayed the inside. The directions are in japanese so I cant read them.

Thanks ahead of time.

umm...spraying on the outside will lead to the peeling effect as seen on some rice-a-roni's...Why not an overlay?

I sprayed the taillights on my previous car, CandyApple Red. I sprayed it on the outside, and it didn't peel or anything. I didn't put on a clearcoat, either (though I should have, in retrospect). They faded slighty after a couple years, but I could have just sprayed more on to fix it. You did it correctly.

Tint

Done correctly will be just as shiny and glossy as the paint and will not fade or peel. I spray tinted both of my previous cars, but for some reason went with overlays on the G. I wish they were available in a darker tint, but at least I have the option of taking them off.
Good luck.

1- thread is almost worthless without pics.

2- this thread is better suited in the body/exterior/interior/lighting forum, which it has been moved. original poster had it in the coupe forum, which is great, but it belongs here
