Chip Foose has become a modern-day hot-rod legend. He's a brilliant designer IMHO. He could take a Gremlin and make people drool over it.

That's the good news. The bad news is that if you try to recreate a Foose-style paint job on your G35 without the actual living-and-breathing Chip Foose doing the work, you'll end up with a gangsta-rap hooptymobile-wannabe G35. So get on the horn and beg, bribe and (depending on how bad you want it) blow the man to get him to lay hands on your car.

Here's a 350Z with a unique two tone paint job & carbon fiber hood. Not exactly the "Foose type" of paint job, but IMO very clean and different. He's with ALT Wheels in So. Calif.

I've seen pics of a HOT red G with the center section of the hood painted all the way to the rear.

Hey! Thats Roy's car! Its a pretty clean ride Its not complete yet... he's still waiting on his back bumper to be made. Hes going to be getting a prototype from some company... I forgot which one.

If your going to do a two tone paint job . IMPO you have to seperate the two colors with a 3rd color , be it a pin stripe or what ever . Thats what Foose does and it sets the car off . Gives it that final touch

Only thing I dont like about his paint is he adds the 3rd color on top of the clear.

How about a silver top with a blue pin stripe.
