Spoiler? ((pics))

Alright, heres the deal... I like the G35 with out the spoiler. IMO, the oem one is the nicest, and theres nothing wrong with it, but having no spoiler at all just looks so much cleaner. Now heres my dilemma, I’m about to have my ings bodykit installed and now I’m starting to think my car is going to need a spoiler to balance out the bodykit. Now, below is a picture of a G35 with an Ings kit and no spoiler. Do you think it flows better with or with out a spoiler.

And if I decide to buy an OEM spoiler, how is the quality of the spoilers over at SpoilerDepot.com? I read about cheap 2 piece spoilers that will warp, but I don’t see anything like that anywhere. Even the listings on Ebay all advetise one piece oem spec and quality.

**edit**

I would have to say that the Data Systems spoiler is a very close second to the factory spoiler. Depending on the day and my mood, I'll like the Data System more So how do you think the data system would flow with the ings kit? And anyone know where I can buy it with out having to fork out a small fortune and wait a month to get it?

BS with black interior. Its going into the shop tomorrow to have my Ings front and back and kenstyle sides painted and installed... and I should be buying my rims this week too. Also, hopefully by the end of this weekend, I'll also have my custom LED clearance strip done, my Z-tube installed, my Stillen intake ordered, my custom LED bumper lights... and I think thats it for this week. Next week will be focused on getting some highs and lows into my crappy bose!

Right now, I'm swaying towars the Data Systems spoiler. Its rare, and the factory spoiler is so common. I might also want to see what the 06 spoiler will look like in person. It looks alot like the Data spoiler, but just a little square'er.

I want to be done with fixing up the majority of my car before my license plates come in

Heres the same spoiler'less picture from above, followed by a few pictures of a G35 with a data system spoiler. Imagine a car with that bodykit, and that spoiler. Does it flow? Does it match? Is the data system enough to balance out the bodykit?... or would the stock one work better?

i think it def needs a spoiler to balance out the kit. I would go with:

1. Ing
2. Gialla
3. Stock

the ings kit is so subtle that i dont think you necessarily needa spoiler to balance it out. if it were a lot wilder (kenstyle) then i think itd be a better decision. all in all, just go with what you like more...

I think the subtleness of the ings kit doesnt need a spoiler. I am getting mine installed in about 2 months and i will stay without one. Looking at the pics (dg) withthe spoiler, i think it would look a little better without out. Now this is just my opinion i like the clean look. Plus my G is DG as well. So go with what you like your not gonna go wrong either way..

For the time being, I guess I'll just have the bodykit installed and decide after. Have it spoiler'less for a little while to see how I like it in person. 'Till then, I'll have to keep my options open. Who knows... maybe a new spoiler will come out that will be better than all the ones out right now! SEMA is just around the corner too... never know

here is my opinion...i have been thinking about a spoiler for a long time too...

with the ings kit...you dont HAVE to get a spoiler but it depends on the color. on dark cars, i dont think you need one. i feel dark colors like black hides the shape of the body. So a spoiler on a black car, to me, doesnt give the definition that would make it look awesome..now with lighter colored cars, a spoiler looks awesome cause you can see all the shapes and lines.

as for me, i really wanted a aftermarket spoiler just to make my car stand out a little more. but the more i think about it, the oem spoiler is the best looking. All the other ones just look out of place.

in conclusion....get an oem spoiler with your ings kit. just like the pic above (DG with ings kit and oem spoiler) looks awesome...tasteful yet aggressive but not overdone. i guess people like the word "CLEAN" (way overused word IMO)
