kenstyle rear bumper
kenstyle rear bumper
What the best place now-a-days to buy a Kenstyle rear bumper? I'm having a hard time finding one w/o the whole body kit. I found one here autosportz . The problem is, the Kenstyle bumper there is $850 which seems kinda expensive. There is also a "Type KS" bumper there that looks the same as the "Kenstyle" one, but is only $650. So whats the difference, why is the one cheaper? Is there a cheaper place to buy the KS bumper elsewhere?
These are the kenstyle replica that I sell. As you can see from the pictures, there are very small or little gaps and has excellent fitment. If you are interested, you can pm me for more information.

for the replica, the quality seems to have faded and the company that makes the replica KS has pretty bad customer service and just got kicked off this forum and the my350 forum...

I got my Kenstyle rear bumper through Jimmy at StreetImage. It was the 5th kit to be imported and the final kit to be seperated, or parted out by Kenstyle. It cost me $1500 with S&H. Well worth it to me - when people know you paid that much for a bumper the WOW factor goes way up... when you have a replica, you could always lie [ricer] or tell them its a replica and it just like... oh, ok, well cool... Anyway, I believe Jimmy is on this site and you can always get in contact with him through the site, www.StreetImage.com
I believe with any replica you will save a few dollars on the kit but in the long run you will spend just as much getting it fixed, fitted, and painted that you shoulda just gone ahead and bought the real deal. Just listen to the people who had problems with the replicas, and how bad their experiences were.
Someone rearended me with my fiberglass KENSTYLE bumper, it took the hit, cracked and ripped like any other fiberglass would, but atleast it kept its shape and was easily repairable, not falling half way off. The real kit is thick, thick high quality 'glass, but others are not and will begin sagging or twisting as time goes on with temperature flux and weather.
